A former Clarkson’s Farm star has made a surprise return to the new series after an emotional goodbye.

Jeremy Clarkson fronts the Amazon Prime show about farming his 1,000 acre spot in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

The former Top Gear host bought Diddly Squat farm, between Chadlington and Chipping Norton, in 2008 but only started to farm it in 2019.

Debuting in 2021, the show features Mr Clarkson, Chipping Norton farmhand Kaleb Cooper, drystone waller Gerald Cooper, Mr Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan, land agent Charlie Ireland and builder Alan Townsend.

For series four last year, Mr Clarkson was joined by Derbyshire farmhand Harriet Cowan, who was recruited to help with jobs around the farm while Kaleb was away on tour.

The 25-year-old instantly became a hit with fans due to her no-nonsense approach and impressive knowledge on farming.

She said her goodbyes to Diddly Squat last year, but made a surprise appearance once again for episode two of the popular show, which is on Amazon Prime from today (June 3).

Harriet appeared at the farmer’s protest alongside Mr Clarkson, Mr Cooper and Mr Ireland, joining them on the coach down there from Diddly Squat.

She later re-appeared in the same episode for a Clarkson’s Farm Christmas party at The Farmer’s Dog in Burford.
