Jeremy Clarkson Makes Major Career Move Weeks After ‘Painful’ Hospital Treatment

Television presenter Jeremy Clarkson has taken a surprising new step in his career — just weeks after undergoing a “painful” hospital procedure.

The Clarkson’s Farm and Grand Tour star, 65, has officially registered a new business venture, marking another chapter in his post-Top Gear career — even as he continues to recover from recent health scares.

New Company Registered After Hospital Stay

According to public records from Companies House, Clarkson established a new firm on October 22, listed as being involved in “security dealing on own account.”

The nature of the business remains unclear, but the registration comes shortly after his emergency treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The timing has caught fans’ attention, given Clarkson’s remarks earlier that same day calling the NHS a “creaking monster” — a comment he later tempered with praise for the staff who treated him.

‘Defcon 1 Painful’ Treatment

Writing in his Sunday Times column, Clarkson revealed that the hospital visit had been extremely painful.

“The treatment was Defcon 1 painful,” he wrote. “They had to peel me off the ceiling with a spatula afterwards and I was forced to stay the night, but it was OK.

“I’m not going to tell you what was wrong, because that’s none of your business.”

Despite his criticism of the NHS system, Clarkson later thanked the doctors and nurses who provided what he described as “excellent care.”

A History of Health Scares

The incident follows a major heart operation last year, during which Clarkson had two stents fitted to unblock arteries after he began suffering chest tightness, numbness in his arm, and shortness of breath.

At the time, he admitted that if his symptoms hadn’t resembled a heart attack, he might not have sought help in time.

“It seems that one of the arteries feeding my heart was completely blocked and another was heading that way,” he wrote.

“I went home the next morning and thought, ‘Crikey, that was close.’”

Still Charging Ahead

Despite his health setbacks, Clarkson shows no sign of slowing down. His Amazon Prime hit series Clarkson’s Farm will return for a fifth season in 2026, continuing to chronicle life at his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.

The series has become one of Prime Video’s most successful UK productions, praised for its humor, authenticity, and rural storytelling.

As for his new business, fans are speculating whether the company hints at another venture — financial, agricultural, or even media-related — but Clarkson, ever private about his projects, has yet to comment publicly.

A Resilient Comeback

Between farming challenges, council disputes, and health battles, Clarkson continues to reinvent himself both on and off screen.

His latest move shows that even after painful treatment and a near-miss with his health, the outspoken TV star is still pressing forward — in true Clarkson fashion: fast, fearless, and unapologetically determined.
