Kelvin and Liz Fletcher’s ITV series, which documents the triumphs and tribulations of managing their Cheshire farm, broadcasts every Sunday at 11.30am. However, the following Sunday, Josie’s Taste of the Westcountry will take over the slot.

The This Morning presenter’s ITV programme will be broadcast from 11.25am to 12.25pm on Sunday, with a repeat of Fletcher’s Family Farm airing afterwards.

The synopsis for the opening episode of Josie’s Taste of the Westcountry states: “Proud Bristolian Josie Gibson goes on a culinary tour of the region, meeting local producers, sampling regional delicacies, and celebrating people, flavours and landscapes.

“She begins in Gloucestershire, saddling up for a scenic ride before meeting Countryfile’s Adam Henson and his special pigs, and helping chef Paul Ainsworth make a decadent fondue – with mustard that was written about by William Shakespeare,” The Mirror.
The production company behind Fletcher’s Family Farm also released an update as series four draws to a close.

Accompanying a clip, they wrote: “We’ve almost reached the end of Series 4 of Fletchers’ Family Farm…but not just yet.

“This week, Marnie’s lamb shack is stealing the show! After all the hard work with her Jacob lambs, it’s time to see if her efforts pay off at the market. Catch the final episode this Sunday at 11:30am on ITV1.”

Series four delivered remarkable triumphs for the Fletcher family alongside truly devastating setbacks. Not only were the family forced to vacate their farmhouse following a blaze, but they also made the tragic discovery that their cow, Cherry, had died.

“It’s absolutely heartbreaking. I’ve no idea at all about what’s caused it. I’m just surprised how shocking it is, to be honest, I’m just having a bit of shock,” Kelvin said.
“This is a lot to process. We are such a small herd, and Cherry was most definitely the matriarch,” he added. “Losing her is a huge blow for us and her calf, Ezra. It’s really upsetting. Absolutely gutted.”

This wasn’t the first painful farewell the Fletchers encountered during this series, having previously said goodbye to their cow, Sonic.
The synopsis for next Sunday’s repeat of series one, episode one of Fletcher’s Family Farm states: “Actor and TV presenter Kelvin Fletcher and his family give an insight into rural life, beginning in the midst of their busiest lambing season ever.

“Kelvin and his wife Liz enter the world of pig breeding as they attempt the complex art of artificial insemination, and Kelvin heads out to collect new livestock as the Fletchers make preparations to open the farm for their first public event.”
