Jeremy Clarkson has shared his reaction to the newest episode of Richard Hammond’s show, which featured guest star James May. The clip prompted an amused response from the former Top Gear and The Grand Tour host.
From Top Gear to Solo Projects
Clarkson, who resides in west Oxfordshire, formerly co-hosted BBC’s Top Gear and Prime Video’s The Grand Tour alongside Hammond and May for over 20 years. Their professional collaboration concluded last year with the special One For The Road, which took the trio on a journey across Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Since then, all three presenters have pursued individual projects. Hammond has found further TV success with his discovery+ series, Richard Hammond’s Workshop.
May and Hammond Reunite on Screen
In a recent clip shared on social media, James May reunites with Hammond as the latter works on May’s Triumph Stag car. Discovery+ UK posted the video on Instagram, noting:
“All is going well with Richard delivering James May’s Triumph Stag, until the wheels come off…”
A fan account also shared the clip, which led Clarkson to watch and react to the amusing moment.
Clarkson’s Amused Reaction
Clarkson, 65, commented on the video:
“That’s hilarious. You ruined his car.”
Meanwhile, in the clip, May admired the work done on his vehicle, saying:
“It’s quite pretty, isn’t it?”
Hammond added:
“You can see how much crisper it looks.”
