Kaleb Cooper Responds to Criticism Over His Move to Australia for New Amazon Series
Kaleb Cooper Hits Back at Criticism Over Australia Move
Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has responded to online criticism after a fan accused him of becoming “pretentious” following his move to Australia to film a new project.
From Chipping Norton to the Outback
The 27-year-old farmer from Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, rose to fame in 2021 when Clarkson’s Farm first premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Since then, Cooper has become a fan favourite for his unfiltered humour and sharp wit alongside Jeremy Clarkson.
Now, he’s taking his agricultural expertise abroad with his upcoming spin-off, “Kaleb: Down Under,” which will follow his farming adventures across Australia.
A Dream Come True
While filming, Cooper shared an update with fans on Instagram earlier this week, posting a photo of himself at Australia Zoo, the iconic wildlife park made famous by Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
In the caption, he wrote:
“Completing a dream today.”
The post was met with enthusiasm from thousands of followers, many congratulating him on the exciting new project and adventure.
Trolls and a Perfect Clapback
However, not everyone was supportive. One social media user criticised Cooper’s growing fame, writing:
“Shame he just wants to be a celebrity now. Pity he’s not like Jeremy — he’s not affected by popularity. Jeremy is just a normal bloke next door without any pretentiousness; whereas this one, mmm.”
Rather than ignoring the remark, Cooper delivered a witty and composed response:
“Sorry, but your name on Instagram is ‘one life live it,’ and then you leave this comment.”
He followed the comeback with a laughing emoji and clarified:
“I’m not going on I’m A Celebrity — I am out filming farming with Amazon Prime.”
Fans Rally Behind Kaleb
Supporters quickly jumped to Cooper’s defence, praising him for staying grounded despite his growing fame. Many noted that he’s simply pursuing new opportunities while continuing to represent the farming community proudly on an international stage.
As one fan wrote:
“He’s living his dream and showing the world what farming is all about — good on him!”
What’s Next for Kaleb Cooper
While his time in Australia is temporary, Cooper’s new show is expected to offer viewers a fresh look at global agriculture through his trademark humour and authenticity.
And with Clarkson’s Farm Season 5 already in production, fans can rest assured that Kaleb will be back in Chipping Norton soon — ready to give Jeremy Clarkson another good telling-off.
