Susan George Visits Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm — Fans Wonder If It’s for Clarkson’s Farm Filming
Jeremy Clarkson Hosts Acting Legend Susan George at His Cotswolds Farm
A Star Visit to Diddly Squat Farm
Jeremy Clarkson, the beloved presenter of Clarkson’s Farm and former Top Gear host, revealed that he recently welcomed a very special guest to his Cotswolds home — legendary English actress Susan George.

The 65-year-old broadcaster shared the news on Instagram, posting a smiling photo with the 75-year-old film star and writing, “Had a legend over this evening. She’s farming now. Only Boomers will know.”
A Screen Icon Turned Farmer
Susan George is best known for her iconic roles in the 1970s classics Straw Dogs (1971) alongside Dustin Hoffman, Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry (1974) with Peter Fonda, and Mandingo (1975) with Ken Norton.
After stepping away from the film industry, George began a new chapter in the countryside. She now manages a stud farm breeding purebred Arabian horses and also runs a charity in memory of her late husband, actor Simon MacCorkindale, who passed away in 2010.
Fans React to Clarkson’s Star-Studded Evening
Clarkson’s followers were thrilled to see the pair together. One fan commented, “The timeless legendary Susan George!” while another added, “Wow, Susan is looking fantastic!”
Actress Rosie Marcel also joined the comments, sharing, “Susan George — played my mother in Castle of Adventure! Lovely woman.”
Clarkson’s Celebrity Circle in the Countryside
Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire has become almost as famous as its owner. His circle of local celebrity friends includes David and Victoria Beckham, who own a £12 million estate in nearby Chipping Norton, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, who recently purchased a farmhouse in the area.
In a previous interview, Clarkson even shared a cheeky exchange with Beckham, who jokingly said he’d celebrate a magazine feature with “a pint of Stella” — prompting Clarkson to reply, “You had better not!”, referencing his own beer brand, Hawkstone.
From the Big Screen to the Farmyard
While Jeremy Clarkson continues to expand his farming empire and television success, Susan George’s visit proves that even film icons can appreciate the peace — and mud — of the English countryside.
Two legends from very different worlds, now connected by their shared love of rural life.
