Clarkson’s Farm star heading for Australia: Kaleb Cooper swapping Chipping Norton for Aussie outback
Kaleb Cooper Swaps the Cotswolds for Australia in New Prime Video Series
Clarkson’s Farm Star Heads Down Under
In a surprise move, Clarkson’s Farm fan-favorite Kaleb Cooper is leaving the familiar fields of Chipping Norton behind and heading down under.
The breakout star of the hit Amazon Prime Video series is set to front his own show, Kaleb: Down Under, which will follow his adventures across the Australian outback.

The new four-part series sees the 27-year-old farmer and contractor stepping away from Diddly Squat Farm—at least temporarily—to explore how agriculture works on the other side of the world.
A New Adventure Begins
Usually found navigating muddy lanes and stubborn tractors in the Oxfordshire countryside, Kaleb will now journey across the globe to immerse himself in Australia’s vast, sunbaked farmlands.
The series will explore how farmers operate under extreme weather conditions, new technologies, and entirely different landscapes—offering Kaleb a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see farming on a global scale.
Speaking about his first major solo venture, Kaleb said:
“I spend most of my time with the most travelled man in the world, so I got brave and booked my first-ever flight to see what all the fuss was about. Australia, here I come!
And Australia, you’ll be gaining a new farmer for a couple of months as I discover if I can make my farming contracting business go international.”
From Oxfordshire to the Outback
The new Prime Video series, still under the working title Kaleb: Down Under, will follow Kaleb as he trades the green fields of the Cotswolds for Australia’s sprawling outback.
There, he’ll meet farmers, ranchers, and agricultural innovators, learning how they adapt to droughts, heatwaves, and the challenges of large-scale production.
The trip marks a huge step for Kaleb, who has admitted in past interviews that he’d never left the UK before this year.
Speaking to Virgin Radio UK, he once confessed:
“I’ve never been on a train. Never been on a bus. Never been in a taxi — swear on my life. I’ve never even been on a boat.”
It wasn’t until 2024 that he ventured further north to Scotland for his live tour, The World According to Kaleb.
Now, he’s about to travel thousands of miles beyond anything he’s ever known.
Filming Begins This Autumn
Production on Kaleb: Down Under is set to begin in autumn 2025, with Prime Video cameras following the farmer as he experiences the challenges of the Australian agricultural industry firsthand.
Kaleb has promised that the series won’t be a leisurely getaway but “a full-on working trip.”
He’s expected to spend his days out in the blazing heat, testing machinery, wrangling livestock, and comparing the differences between British and Australian farming life.
Kaleb’s Rise from Farmhand to Fan Favourite
Since Clarkson’s Farm first aired in 2021, Kaleb Cooper has become one of Britain’s most recognisable new television personalities.
Known for his dry humour, quick wit, and endless patience with Jeremy Clarkson’s city-slicker antics, Kaleb quickly won the hearts of millions.
Fans have come to love his no-nonsense approach, his deep knowledge of farming, and his ability to keep Clarkson grounded—sometimes literally.
Earlier this year, Kaleb and Jeremy attended the National Television Awards, where Clarkson’s Farm won the coveted Best Factual Entertainment award.
It was a proud moment for the pair, proving that their unlikely partnership had struck gold both in the fields and on-screen.
A Prime Video Favorite
Tara Erer, Head of Northern Europe Originals at Amazon MGM Studios, praised the upcoming project and Kaleb’s growing appeal.
“Kaleb Cooper has won our hearts with his no-nonsense farming wisdom and unmistakable charm,” she said.
“Seeing him swap his beloved Chipping Norton for the vast Australian outback promises brilliant entertainment as he encounters farming on a whole new scale.
We’re proud to bring this next chapter of Kaleb’s journey to Prime Video.”
Still Part of Clarkson’s Farm
Despite the new show, fans can rest easy—Kaleb isn’t leaving Clarkson’s Farm behind.
He’ll still appear in Season 5 of the hit series, which continues to film at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
Kaleb may be expanding his horizons, but his roots remain firmly planted in British soil.
Conclusion: From Local Contractor to Global Star
From a young contractor helping out on a local farm to an international television personality, Kaleb Cooper’s journey is a true modern-day success story.
His natural charisma, work ethic, and humor have made him one of the most beloved figures in British television.
Now, as he heads to Australia to learn from some of the toughest farmers on Earth, Kaleb is proving that farming—and curiosity—knows no borders.
“It’s not just about the gold fields or the big farms,” he joked recently. “It’s about learning how people feed the world—and maybe having a bit of fun while I’m at it.”
Kaleb: Down Under will stream exclusively on Prime Video in 2025.
