Kaleb Cooper Slams Jeremy Clarkson: “The Worst Farmer I’ve Ever Seen, Kaleb Cooper’s Brutal Put-Down Leaves Jeremy Clarkson Red-Faced
Kaleb Cooper Shares Chicken ‘Problem’ and Delivers Brutal Put-Down to Jeremy Clarkson
Kaleb’s Farming Passion
Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has admitted there’s one small “problem” with his much-loved chickens – while also taking a cheeky swipe at his boss, Jeremy Clarkson. The 27-year-old, who has become a fan-favourite on the hit Prime Video series, revealed that although chickens are easy to care for, his children were initially frightened of them.

Clarkson Under Fire
In his new book, Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales, Kaleb doesn’t hold back about Jeremy’s skills – or lack thereof. He writes:
“Anyway, the point is, chickens are generally pretty easy – even my friend Jeremy can handle chickens, and he’s the worst farmer I’ve ever seen.”
The remark adds to a long list of playful jabs the young farmer has made at Clarkson’s expense since the show began in 2021.
Children and the ‘Dinosaur’ Chickens
Kaleb explained that the real challenge wasn’t the chickens themselves, but his children’s reaction to them. His partner, Taya, pointed out that he may have made things worse by telling the kids that chickens were “dinosaurs.”
“They watch Terry’s Dino Club,” Taya reminded him, “with fluffy dinosaurs solving puzzles together.” By contrast, Kaleb had described his poultry as “little dinosaurs with feathers,” sparking fear instead of fascination.
Jeff the Mad Rooster
Over time, Kaleb’s kids overcame their fears and became helpful around the yard. Young Willa proudly carried baskets of eggs with great care, while Oscar excelled as an “egg collector.” That is, until Jeff the rooster – nicknamed “Jeff the Mad Rooster” – decided to target him.

“Jeff is quite big,” Kaleb admitted, “and like most animals, the male is bigger and more annoying than the female. Roosters don’t lay eggs, so they’re not much use, except for waking everyone up at four in the morning.”
Chickens vs. Turkeys
Kaleb also revealed that, while chickens are a staple of his farm, turkeys don’t enjoy the same status. “They’re not very permanent,” he joked, adding that they tend to “leave” in the run-up to Christmas.
Early Farming Days
Kaleb also opened up about his beginnings in agriculture. Unlike many farmers, he didn’t come from a farming family. His first venture started at just 13 years old, when he began raising hens and selling their eggs. It was a profitable hobby – until his head teacher stepped in, warning his mum that the side business was distracting from schoolwork.
A Familiar Farmyard Banter
Despite his playful criticism of Jeremy Clarkson, Kaleb’s honesty and humour are exactly what fans love about Clarkson’s Farm. His knack for mixing family anecdotes with witty farming insights ensures he remains one of the show’s most relatable and entertaining figures.
