Sharing a photograph alongside fan favourites Kaleb Cooper, Gerald Cooper, Lisa Hogan, and land agent Charlie Ireland, Clarkson kept the announcement simple:
“Season 5. It’s a wrap.”

From Top Gear to Farming Life

Clarkson purchased Curdle Hill Farm in Chadlington back in 2008, later renaming it Diddly Squat Farm. In 2019, he took over its day-to-day management, documenting his struggles and successes in modern farming.

That journey became Clarkson’s Farm, first released on Prime Video in 2021. The series quickly gained critical acclaim for its mix of humour, heartfelt moments, and raw insight into agricultural life.

The Faces of Diddly Squat

Since its launch, the series has introduced audiences worldwide to an unforgettable supporting cast:

  • Kaleb Cooper – the outspoken young contractor guiding Clarkson through farming life.
  • Gerald Cooper – the drystone wall expert with his own unique charm.
  • Lisa Hogan – Clarkson’s partner, balancing farm chaos with wit.
  • Charlie Ireland – the ever-patient land agent ensuring compliance with farming rules.

Together, they’ve become as much a reason to watch as Clarkson himself.

Building the Legacy

Following the success of season one, Prime Video quickly renewed the show. Three additional seasons have since aired, the latest of which was released between May and June this year. Each instalment has highlighted both the beauty and the struggles of farming in Britain—from unpredictable weather to bureaucracy and financial pressures.

Clarkson also expanded his ventures beyond farming. His pub, The Farmer’s Dog in Asthall, featured in filming for the upcoming season, giving fans a look at yet another layer of his rural business empire.

What Happens Next?

With cameras now packed away, the series moves into post-production. Editing, narration, and polishing the final cut will take several months. While an exact release date has not yet been confirmed, industry expectations suggest that Clarkson’s Farm season five will premiere on Prime Video sometime in the new year.

Fans Still Hungry for More

The confirmation of a completed season is a relief for fans who have been waiting since Clarkson first teased series five at the end of last year. Social media quickly buzzed with excitement following his announcement, with many viewers eager to see what challenges, disasters, and unexpected victories await Diddly Squat Farm next.
