Jeremy, 65, married Alex in 1989, but divorced soon after in 1991, following allegations that he’d had an affair. He then married entrepreneur Frances in 1993, in a marriage which lasted until their 2014 divorce.

Since then, Jeremy has been in a long-term relationship with Lisa Hogan, who assists him in his pursuits at Clarkson’s Farm – including the running of their shop on Diddly Squat.
While weighing in on the topic of today’s ‘snowflake’ culture, Jeremy has revealed how one of his ex-wives had a neat technique designed to weed out party poopers.

Introducing… the c**t test.
Elaborating in his column for The Sun, Jeremy shared how he would prevent British firms from hiring ‘woke idiots.’

‘You simply have to use a technique my ex-wife used to deploy at parties,’ Jeremy wrote. ‘She called it the c*** test.’

He continued: ‘Here’s how it worked. After being introduced to someone, she would use the c-word as soon as possible.’

If the recipient looked shocked, then Clarkson’s unnamed ex-wife would know that they could never be friends and ‘would go and find someone else to talk to.’

He went on to suggest that this is what potential employers should do during interviews.

‘Drop the c-bomb and if the jobseeker is unbothered, they start on Monday.’
Last year, Lisa, 51, weighed in on whether she could ever see herself becoming the third Mrs. Jeremy Clarkson.

‘Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. We decided not to have children together,’ Belfast Live reported her as saying.

‘We’re at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I’m just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it’s much easier. You go: “God, is it you I end up with? OK, that’s it.”

‘But it’s relaxing knowing you are not going to be with anybody else. It gives you a certain amount of liberation.’

Prior to meeting Jeremy, Lisa was married to Madrid-based art collector Baron Steven Bentinck, with whom she shares her three children.

After marrying in the 1990s, the couple split up in 2005 and finalised their divorce in 2011.

Meanwhile, Jeremy has three children from his previous marriage to Frances – daughters Emily and Katya, and son Finlo.
After meeting at a party hosted by friends, Jeremy and Lisa hit it off, and began dating after an extended courting period

Whether or not either party deployed the c**t test is unknown.

‘It was quite a long courtship, as I didn’t know where he was in his life. And I wasn’t ready to start dating again; didn’t want to go out with anyone,’ Lisa told The Times.
‘He had to court me for three months.’
