Jeremy Clarkson reveals why there’s ‘no farming OR filming’ at Diddly Squat Farm so far this year

JEREMY Clarkson has revealed the sad reason filming for the new season of his hit Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm has been halted.

The 65-year-old’s agriculture series has already run for four successful seasons with a fifth expected to debut later in the spring.

But, while Jeremy has confirmed a sixth series is in development, fans may be waiting longer than expected as he confessed filming has been put on hold.

Unfortunately, the presenter can no longer farm at Diddly Squat in Oxfordshire, with the British weather taking a toll.

He wrote to fans in his Sunday Times column: “There’s no filming happening on the farm at the moment, or farming.

“It hasn’t stopped raining since the beginning of the year, so I can’t plant anything, and I can’t do anything with my cows either because we are still locked down by TB.”
Diddly Squat Farm was hit by a bovine tuberculosis outbreak last October, which forced the death of the farm’s first ever pregnant cow.

Jeremy assured fans at the time that the bacterial disease didn’t affect humans just his “poor cows.”

The TV legend is yet to announce when filming for the sixth series is expected to commence.

Back in January, Jeremy claimed if it snowed in Oxfordshire he would indeed begin filming the following month – and the weather duly responded as the white stuff was spotted all over the county.

He did have one more hurdle to get over in December 2025, which was getting Amazon to sign off on another season.

Although he admitted it was pretty much a done deal and they just needed to formalise things.

In December, he said: “We’ll definitely do six series, Amazon want to and I want to.

“I’ve got a good idea for six.

“I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see…”

Fans will be over the moon as it seems we could be seeing a lot more of Diddly Squat farm.
