Clarkson Confirms Season Six Is Planned as Cameras Could Roll Again This Winter
Clarkson’s Farm Could Return Sooner Than Expected
While Clarkson’s Farm appeared set to take a brief pause before moving into a sixth series on Prime Video, Jeremy Clarkson has hinted that filming at Diddly Squat Farm may resume earlier than anticipated. Much, he suggests, depends on the British weather.
Recent snowfall in parts of the UK, including Oxfordshire, has raised the possibility of cameras returning to the farm sooner than planned.

‘If It Snows, We’ll Start Filming Again’
Speaking to The Sun, Jeremy Clarkson explained that farming rarely allows for genuine downtime.
“We’ve never really had a rest,” he said. “You wrap one series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest, then you start drilling for the next year.”
However, this time the production briefly stepped back. Clarkson revealed that Kaleb Cooper is currently in Australia filming another project, while Clarkson himself was busy with Millionaire Hot Seat and keen to finally take a holiday.
“So we just said, ‘OK, let’s actually wrap it,’” he added. “And then I said, ‘If it snows, we’ll start filming again.’”
Season Five Still Awaited by Viewers
At the time of reporting, Amazon has not confirmed when season five of Clarkson’s Farm will be released. Nevertheless, Clarkson has previously indicated that the upcoming series will still deliver humour and insight into modern farming life.
Writing in his newspaper column last October, he noted that while the Cotswolds looked impressive during filming, the work itself was exhausting. “At the coalface, it was knackering,” he admitted.
A Longer Future for Clarkson’s Farm
Despite uncertainty around scheduling, Clarkson remains optimistic about the show’s future. He has suggested that Clarkson’s Farm could run for as many as seven series.
“We’ll definitely do six,” he said. “Amazon want to, and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.”
He added that he plans to continue only as long as there are fresh ideas. “I said I’d stop when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see.”
‘The Show Goes On’ at Diddly Squat
For now, Clarkson says life on the farm continues regardless of cameras. With Kaleb back on his tractor and Clarkson returning to daily farm work, the future of Clarkson’s Farm appears secure — whether filming resumes immediately or after a short pause.
As Clarkson put it simply: “The show goes on.”
