Jeremy Clarkson gives major Clarkson’s Farm filming update after sudden change

Jeremy Clarkson Shares Big Update on Clarkson’s Farm Filming After Unexpected Break

Jeremy Clarkson, the well-known host of Clarkson’s Farm, has revealed a major update about the filming of the popular Prime Video series after a sudden break. For the first time in 40 years, Clarkson is taking a proper break from television, as filming on his farm-based show has temporarily halted. The announcement comes after a busy period in which Clarkson balanced his work on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and the day-to-day challenges of running Diddly Squat Farm.

The Break and the Unexpected Filming Schedule

Clarkson, who has been known for his non-stop work ethic, is now enjoying a much-needed three-month break after the conclusion of the last series of Clarkson’s Farm. The break, however, may not last long as a major change has occurred that could lead to an abrupt return to filming. Clarkson teased that the crew may start filming for the sixth season sooner than expected. The snowstorm battering the UK, which could dump up to eight inches of snow across the country, has prompted him to consider returning to his farming roots.

He shared with The Sun, “We’ve never had a rest; we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest and you’re immediately starting drilling for the next year.” But with his co-star Kaleb Cooper currently filming in Australia and Clarkson focusing on Millionaire Hot Seat, he finally decided to take a break. However, as the weather has turned snowy, it might be time to break out the cameras once again.

A Break from TV After Years of Non-stop Work

Clarkson revealed at the launch of his new Millionaire spin-off, Hot Seat, that this would be the first time in decades that he wouldn’t be filming a show for several months. He admitted, “You would rot if you didn’t. I’m genuinely frightened because until March, I won’t be filming a TV show for the first time in 40 years. That will be three months of s**t.”

It’s clear that Clarkson needed this break. The stress of opening his pub, The Farmer’s Dog, while also managing the day-to-day operations of Diddly Squat Farm had taken a toll on his health. Clarkson previously mentioned that he was “knackered” after dealing with the difficulties of running both businesses. The constant stress and long hours led to health problems, even requiring him to be hospitalized for a heart issue. “I ended up in hospital with a heart problem, when you see how stressful it was trying to do those two things, there’s simply no sleep,” Clarkson confessed.

The Future of Clarkson’s Farm

Despite his well-earned break, Clarkson confirmed that the sixth season of Clarkson’s Farm is definitely happening. “We’ll definitely do six [series] – Amazon want to, and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six,” he said. Fans of the show can rest easy knowing that the beloved Diddly Squat farm will return, with Clarkson at the helm and his farm operations continuing to provide plenty of drama and comedic moments. The snowstorm may have been the catalyst to get him back behind the camera, but it seems Clarkson is ready to dive right back into farm life — no matter how exhausting it may be.

It’s safe to say that the upcoming season will bring more of the quirky charm and unpredictable farm adventures that viewers have come to expect. Fans are likely eager to see what new farming challenges Clarkson will face in the next chapter of Clarkson’s Farm. Whether it’s snowstorms, farming disasters, or the ever-present antics of Kaleb Cooper, Season 6 promises to deliver yet another wild ride.
