Possible Ship Found Beneath Oak Island Swamp Supports Fred Nolan’s Theory

During recent excavations on Oak Island, a team led by the Lagina brothers, together with metal detection expert Gary Drayton and heavy equipment operator Billy Gerhardt, uncovered a strange structure buried deep within the triangular swamp. This discovery may support Fred Nolan’s long-controversial theory that a ship was deliberately sunk beneath the swamp.

The find began with a curved piece of timber near the southeastern edge of the swamp, which resembled shipbuilding materials from centuries ago. Further digging revealed a massive curved stone-lined wall beneath the swamp’s muck. The structure’s unusual shape and materials did not match any natural formation or modern construction, raising questions about its origin.

Fred Nolan, a land surveyor turned treasure hunter, had previously suggested the swamp was artificially created by flooding the channel between two islands to hide a ship. Nolan’s theory proposes the ship was sunk intentionally to conceal treasure or ancient secrets. Over the years, numerous strange artifacts have been found across Oak Island, including stone triangles, drilled rocks with metal rings, and old oak chests.

The recent discovery adds new weight to Nolan’s claims and raises intriguing questions about Oak Island’s mysterious past and the true purpose of the swamp.
