Rick Ness: A Desperate Gamble at Vegas Valley

Rick Ness is going all in at Vegas Valley, chasing a $2 million payday before time runs out. However, there’s one massive obstacle60 feet of overburden stands between him and the gold-rich pay dirt.

With the clock ticking, he pushes his crew harder than ever, requesting foreman Buzz Legoe to operate a fourth truck. Hesitant at first, Legoe steps up—only for disaster to strike. A turbo failure shuts down the truck, costing the team four hours of lost time and $4,500 in repairs.

To make matters worse, the rough terrain slows production, forcing Legoe back to his old job of smoothing out the roads. Feeling demoted and undervalued, tensions explode into a heated confrontation with Rick. The crew is walking on eggshells, but in a rare moment of leadership, Rick reassures Legoe of his importance to the team.


Parker Schnabel: Racing Against Time for 8,000 Ounces

Over at Parker Schnabel’s camp, the pressure is just as intense. With only a few weeks left in the season, Parker demands his crew deliver an additional 600 ounces—but Mother Nature has other plans.

The intake pond for wash plant Bob becomes clogged with debris, halting production. Foreman Damon Brown, determined to keep things moving, builds a makeshift dam using trees, restoring water flow just in time.

But the challenges keep coming—a rock truck gets stuck, and their 480 excavator’s bucket cracks, forcing Brown to make a grueling 25-mile journey to find a replacement.

Despite these obstacles, Parker’s team fights back, pulling in a staggering 418.5 ounces from multiple wash plants—adding over $440,000 to their haul. However, Parker’s dream of hitting 8,000 ounces is slipping away. Can he pull off a miracle before the season ends?

Tony Beets: Closing in on 5,000 Ounces

Tony Beets and his crew are laser-focused on one goal—hitting 5,000 ounces before the final cleanup. Monica Beets is assigned the challenging Hester Cut, but things go south fast.

As the crew attempts to drain water from the cut, the banks collapse, turning the entire site into a swamp. Their only hope? Hauling in coarse gravel to stabilize the area.

After a week of continuous wash plant runs, the Beets family finally strikes gold320.5 ounces worth over $800,000. This brings their season total to 4,159 ounces, putting them within reach of their 5,000-ounce target. But with time running out, can they hold on and finish strong?
