‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt’s Return May Involve Dalton’s Cloning Research
Rumors are swirling that Britt’s return will usher in an even bigger storyline connected to Dalton’s cloning research. The actress officially returns to the GH canvas this week.
Spoilers indicate that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) spots his ex-girlfriend, Britt, at an airport. She appears to rush off suddenly. The scene is featured in a GH preview video.
We have to wonder if her return is connected to the Dalton investigation since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) tasked the mob enforcer with finding out more about the shady Professor.
We also know that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) expressed to Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that it was highly crucial they uncover the messenger who is working with Dalton.
Brennan is convinced that someone is physically delivering information to Dalton. Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) made it clear to Dalton that he needs to speed up his progress because he was becoming impatient.
Sidwell claimed that there was another party involved in this, and we think it might be our “Britta.” Speaking of which, Lisel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will also return to the soap.
Her story arc involves Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Rocco e-mailed Obrecht to ask questions about the woman who gave birth to him: Britt Westbourne.
Spoilers tease Obrecht returns soon. We aren’t sure if she’s involved in this cloning business as well. Still, there is a definite possibility that Britt is the mysterious courier Brennan is so curious about.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Is In Desperate Need Of A Love Interest
The courier will meet with Dalton next week. That might explain why Jason sees Britt at the airport. Apparently, in the scene, Jason is described as “being caught off guard.”
Thiebaud told Soap Opera Digest in June, when it was announced she’d make an epic GH comeback, that her return would be “a wild ride.”
It makes sense for the show to add some interest to the Dalton storyline, as not much movement has occurred since Goddard debuted on the soap back in April.
We know Emma Drake Scorpio (Braedyn Bruner) is desperate to get into that lab and expose Dalton for his alleged illegal animal testing.
However, we still don’t know much about Professor Dalton. GH fans would no doubt have an easier time accepting a storyline that involves cloning if it means bringing back a popular character like Britt.
