Our Farm Next Door returns for series 3
Our Farm Next Door Returns with a New Chapter for the Owen Family
Amanda Owen, Clive Owen, and their nine children are set to return to television screens as Our Farm Next Door comes back for its third series on More4. The new season will premiere on Monday, January 19, continuing the family’s ambitious renovation project in the Yorkshire Dales.

From Derelict Farmhouse to Family Home
Across five new episodes, viewers will follow the Owenses as they continue transforming the once-derelict farmhouse known as Anty John’s, located next door to their home at Ravenseat Farm. Having completed much of the exterior restoration in earlier series, the family now turns its attention indoors.
The latest episodes will document the challenges of redesigning the interior space, including planning room layouts, installing plumbing, and finally bringing running water into the building—an important milestone in converting the historic structure into a modern family home.
Exploring the History of Anty John’s
Alongside the physical renovation, Amanda Owen continues to explore the history of Anty John’s and its former residents. Among the most notable is Anthony Clarkson, a well-known Swaledale map maker, whose connection to the property adds historical depth to the series.
These discoveries help frame the farmhouse not just as a building project, but as a piece of local heritage being carefully preserved and reimagined.
Life on the Farm Never Pauses
While the renovation remains central to the storyline, everyday life at Ravenseat Farm continues in parallel. Viewers can expect to see the familiar rhythm of hill farming in the remote Yorkshire Dales, as livestock care, weather challenges, and family responsibilities continue alongside the building work.
Channel 4 Confirms Long-Term Future
On August 15, 2025, Channel 4 confirmed that Our Farm Next Door has been renewed for both a third and fourth series. Production company Wise Owl said future episodes would continue to focus on the Owenses’ day-to-day farming life, offering a long-term look at rural family living.
From Our Yorkshire Farm to a Growing TV Franchise
The Owen family first rose to prominence through Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm, which documented their hill sheep farming life at Ravenseat Farm in North Yorkshire.
Since then, their television presence has expanded across multiple series. In addition to Our Farm Next Door, the family is also linked to their son’s independent project, Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, marking a new generation stepping into the spotlight.
As Our Farm Next Door returns, viewers will once again see how the Owen family balances tradition, hard work, and change—both inside the farmhouse walls and across the rugged landscape they call home.
