Kaleb Cooper hints at buying farm after Clarkson success
Kaleb Cooper Hints at Future Farm Ownership
Kaleb Cooper has suggested that he may follow in Jeremy Clarkson’s footsteps by purchasing his own farm in the coming years, marking a potential new chapter in his rapidly expanding career.
The 27-year-old farmer rose to national prominence through Clarkson’s Farm, where he quickly became a fan favourite thanks to his blunt honesty, deep farming knowledge, and often comic clashes with Jeremy Clarkson.

From Farmhand to Household Name
Cooper, who is from Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, first appeared in the debut season of the Amazon Prime Video series in 2021. Since then, he has featured in every season of the show, including the fourth series released earlier this year.
The programme, filmed at Diddly Squat Farm, has transformed Cooper from a local farmhand into one of the most recognisable young figures in British farming media.
A Growing Family and Bigger Ambitions
Away from television, Cooper is a father of three. He shares his children with his partner, Taya, with their youngest son, Ashton, born in September.
As his family grows, Cooper has increasingly spoken about long-term stability and independence—both personally and professionally.
2026 Goals Spark Speculation
In a recent Instagram post outlining his ambitions for 2026, Cooper shared a list of personal and professional goals. Among them were plans to buy another tractor, write a new book, and narrate a wildlife or farming programme in the style of David Attenborough.
Midway through the list, one line stood out to fans:
“Buy a farm?”
The question mark did little to dampen speculation, with many interpreting it as a serious indication of Cooper’s desire to own land of his own.

Following Clarkson’s Path
Jeremy Clarkson purchased what was then known as Curdle Hill Farm in 2008, later renaming it Diddly Squat Farm. That decision ultimately led to the creation of Clarkson’s Farm and its huge global success.
Cooper’s comments suggest he may be considering a similar move—transitioning from working someone else’s land to building an independent farming operation.
Joking About Avoiding Clarkson
Cooper’s future plans come shortly after he joked about trying to “avoid” Clarkson at the farm following his return from Australia.
Speaking to BBC Radio Oxford, Cooper laughed as he said he had been away recently and had only just returned, adding that things at the farm were going well despite challenging weather conditions.
He also confirmed that he has another television project in development, expected to be released on Prime Video next year.
What Comes Next for Kaleb Cooper?
While Cooper has not confirmed any concrete plans to buy a farm, his comments point to a clear desire to expand beyond his current role.
Whether that future includes farm ownership, further television work, or both, one thing is clear: Kaleb Cooper is no longer just a supporting figure on Clarkson’s Farm, but a central voice shaping his own path in modern British farming.
