Kaleb Cooper Has a Farmyard Mishap Ahead of His New Prime Video Adventure

Kaleb Cooper’s “Small Problem” Before His Biggest Adventure Yet

Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper may be gearing up for his biggest career move yet — but not before a classic farmyard mishap reminded him where it all began.

As the 25-year-old farmer prepares to embark on his first solo trip overseas, he found himself caught — quite literally — in a sticky situation involving an electric gate, a jumper, and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor.

What started as a normal day on the Diddly Squat Farm quickly turned into a viral moment that had fans laughing, sympathizing, and flooding his comments section with support.

A Small Problem on the Farm

Kaleb took to Instagram this week to share what he jokingly described as a “small problem.” Filming himself on his phone, the young farmer revealed that his jumper had become trapped in an electric gate — just days before his highly anticipated flight to Australia.

“Small problem,” he said in the short clip, sounding both amused and mildly exasperated. “I’m just on the farm, but I’m stuck in the electric gate!”

As he wrestled himself free, it became apparent that the gate had caught the sleeve of his jumper and left a sizable hole. Ever the good sport, Kaleb laughed off the incident and captioned the post:

“Sums up the crazy week I’m having before I go to Australia. So busy.”

The post, paired with a frowning emoji, perfectly captured the chaos of his life as a working farmer turned television personality.

Within minutes, comments poured in from fans and followers, with most offering lighthearted sympathy — and plenty of jokes.

One fan teased, “Don’t worry mate, you won’t need that jumper in Australia — 36°C tomorrow!” Another added, “It’s like the farm doesn’t want you to leave,” followed by a string of laughing emojis.

Others found the timing relatable. “I love that we’re all having one of those days today,” wrote another follower, while one quipped, “You’ve been hanging out with Jeremy too much.”

From Diddly Squat to Down Under

The incident couldn’t have come at a busier time for Kaleb, who is preparing to leave Diddly Squat Farm — the Oxfordshire estate owned by Jeremy Clarkson — to film his first solo series, Kaleb: Down Under, for Prime Video.

The new four-part documentary will follow Kaleb as he travels across Australia, one of the world’s largest and most advanced agricultural regions. It marks a significant step in his career, both as a farmer and as a television figure in his own right.

“I spend most of my time with the most travelled man in the world,” Kaleb said, referring to Clarkson, “so I got brave and booked my first ever flight to see what all the fuss was about. Australia, here I come!”

In the series, Kaleb will explore massive farms that stretch across thousands of acres, learning new methods, tackling unfamiliar challenges, and testing whether his hands-on British farming expertise can adapt to the unique conditions of the Australian outback.

“And Australia,” he added with a grin, “you’ll be gaining a new farmer for a couple of months as I discover if I can make my farming contracting business go international.”

Filming is expected to begin later this autumn, with the release set for 2025.

A Farmer Turned Fan Favourite

Kaleb Cooper has become one of the breakout stars of Clarkson’s Farm, which first premiered on Prime Video in 2021. Known for his blunt honesty, quick wit, and unwavering passion for agriculture, he quickly won over audiences — often stealing scenes from Clarkson himself.

From his signature line, “No, Jeremy, you can’t do that,” to his eye-rolling reactions to Clarkson’s questionable decisions, Kaleb brought authenticity and humor to the show’s portrayal of modern British farming.

Born and raised in Oxfordshire, Kaleb has spent his entire life working the land. Before fame found him, he was running his own small agricultural contracting business, helping local farms with everything from harvesting to soil management.

Despite becoming a household name, he has remained deeply grounded in his roots. His social media is filled not with celebrity glitz, but with muddy boots, tractors, and the daily triumphs and mishaps of life on the land — such as his recent run-in with the electric gate.

The Next Chapter: Kaleb Goes Global

Kaleb: Down Under marks a major milestone in his career. Produced by the same team behind Clarkson’s Farm, the series aims to showcase the similarities and contrasts between British and Australian agriculture, while giving fans a glimpse into Kaleb’s growth as both a farmer and a person.

For the first time, he’ll be flying solo — literally — without Clarkson by his side. It’s both an exciting and daunting prospect.

Kaleb himself has admitted that he’s nervous about the long flight and the sheer scale of Australian farms. In Britain, even large operations might cover a few hundred acres. In contrast, Australian farms often span tens of thousands of acres and face challenges like drought, extreme temperatures, and unpredictable terrain.

But if there’s one thing fans know about Kaleb, it’s that he thrives on challenge. His sharp instincts, boundless energy, and love for farming have already earned him respect well beyond the TV screen.

Fans Rally Behind the Farmer

The electric gate incident might have been a small hiccup, but it only strengthened the affection fans have for him. Comments flooded his Instagram with messages of support and humor — a testament to how deeply audiences connect with his down-to-earth charm.

“Only you could get caught in an electric gate and still make us laugh,” one fan wrote.

Another joked, “This is peak Kaleb — chaos before greatness.”

It’s that mix of humility, humor, and honesty that makes him one of television’s most beloved new personalities.

Looking Ahead

While Kaleb: Down Under begins filming later this year, fans can catch up on all four seasons of Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video. The hit series has already been renewed for a fifth season, set to premiere in 2026, with both Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb returning to tackle more agricultural adventures — and undoubtedly more mishaps.

For now, though, Kaleb’s focus is on the road (and sky) ahead. As he prepares to board his first-ever international flight, one thing is clear: from Diddly Squat to Down Under, Kaleb Cooper is proving that you can take the boy off the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the boy.

And if his latest escapade with the electric gate is any indication, the journey will be just as unpredictable — and entertaining — as the man himself.
