Jeremy Clarkson slammed for doing Diddly Squat about potholes in farm shop car park

TV star Jeremy Clarkson has been been driving visitors to his farm potty as the car park to his Diddly Squat shop is full of craters. Fans claim the area is riddled with huge pot-holes, which are damaging vehicles.

Motormouth Clarkson, 65, has often blasted slammed the state of Britain’s and once compared our roads to those seen in Madagascar. But his own roads are in desperate need of repair.

Potholes are everywhere. Jeremy Clarkson slammed for doing Diddly Squat about potholes in farm shop car park. Surely Jeremy could do something about it. He's not short of a few bob!

One fan who visited his Hawkstone Brewery in the Cotswolds wrote on X last month: “Come on Jezza, sort these potholes out.” Campaigner Mark Morrell, known as “Mr Pothole”, said: “People in glasshouses shouldn’t throw stones.

“It’s all well and good criticising highways authorities about Potholes. When you have pothole problems of your own. That you could do something about. It’s not like Jeremy is short of a few bob.”

It comes after we reported the ex-Top Gear host was being sued by gran Elizabeth Palmby, who fell and broke her ribs during a visit to the farm. Visitors to his Cotswolds shop have complained in their droves on TripAdviser that it’s tricky terrain to navigate.

One said: “The potholes are very deep and poorly marked, making it difficult to park without worrying about damaging your car — especially if you’re in a low vehicle.”
Another moaned: “As with most recent reviews, the potholes – or should that be craters? – in the car park are abysmal and we were lucky to escape damage to the car.

“Given Mr Clarkson’s apparent hatred for National Highways, I hope he doesn’t have the audacity to complain about the potholes on the M6?”

A third said: “There were ginormous potholes everywhere! Luckily my 4×4 was suitable but if we had gone in a regular car we would be easily bottomed out and scraped everywhere, with a little work they could have easily fixed this before opening for the year.”
Another likened to the car park to a “battlefield”, adding: “Wouldn’t take much for a farm vehicle with a grader bar to sort.” He replied: “I hear you.” But another fan replied: “Got a slow puncture of one of these blighters Friday.”

Clarkson bought Curdle Hill Farm near Chipping Norton back in 2008, before renaming it Diddly Squat. He has fronted the hit Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm since 2021, which follows his efforts to run the 1,000 acre farm.

He wrote on the Top Gear website in 2010: “I have bought a farm. There are many sensible reasons for this: Land is a better investment than any bank can offer.
“The government doesn’t get any of my money when I die. And the price of the food that I grow can only go up.”

Last week, we reported how Elizabeth Palmby, 68, was left scarred for life after she tripped at Clarkson’s pub car park and sliced open her hand on ‘razor sharp’ temporary metal covers.

Mr Clarkson has been contacted for comment.
