Jeremy Clarkson Says He Wouldn’t Return to BBC “In a Million Years”

Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has made it clear that there is no chance he will return to the BBC — especially not for its hit reality competition show The Traitors.

Jeremy Clarkson Says He Doesn't Believe 'The Traitors' Is Real

A Definitive “No” to The Traitors

Speaking ahead of the festive Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? special, the 65-year-old dismissed the idea of joining the celebrity edition of The Traitors, despite the programme’s soaring popularity.

According to The Sun, Clarkson said:
“I wouldn’t in a million years. I’ve got 10 jobs already — why would I want 11?”

Although he ruled himself out completely, Clarkson did jokingly speculate about his former Top Gear co-hosts:
“I couldn’t see James May going on it. I could see Richard Hammond going on it, though.”

Why Clarkson Left the BBC

Clarkson’s relationship with the BBC fractured in 2015 when he was dismissed after punching a producer during the filming of Top Gear. His departure triggered a major shift for the network, as long-time co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond also exited in support of him.

The trio later reunited under Amazon Prime Video to launch The Grand Tour, which became a major success.

A New Era: Clarkson’s Farm

Away from motoring, Clarkson has reinvented himself as the star of Clarkson’s Farm, the acclaimed Prime Video series filmed at his Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire. He purchased the farm in 2008, long before the show was conceived, but the series has since become one of his most beloved projects.

Its popularity continues to grow, with fans eagerly awaiting future seasons.

BBC’s The Traitors Continues Its Rise

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors has become a breakout sensation for the BBC. The show will return for its fourth series in January, following the huge success of its first celebrity spin-off, won by comedian Alan Carr.

While the programme continues to attract big names, Clarkson has made it abundantly clear he will not be one of them.
