The Oxfordshire-based farmer and TV host has invented a new game for the upcoming Great British Farm-Fest.

The event will take place at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, from May 22 to 24, and – according to the Daily Star – Mr Clarkson has previously revealed that he “hopes to rival Glastonbury” with the new festival.

Mr Clarkson, Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland, and Adam Henson will take to the stage for a unique blend of farm chat and competitions.

Music acts include Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Groove Armada, Blur’s Alex James, who also lives in Oxfordshire, and Radio X star Chris Moyles.

Along with more details about the event, organisers have said two official charities will be sponsored: RABI, the Farmers Charity (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) and Shout UK, the UK’s first and only free confidential, 24/7 text messaging service.

RABI will also be supporting The Great British Farm-Fest’s search for the nation’s Farming Heroes, with the festival accepting nominations until April 22.

These could be for advancements in sustainability, exceptional technical skill, crucial community contribution, or remarkable tenacity in overcoming business and environmental adversity.

Chris Hughes, festival director, said: “UK agriculture is underpinned by incredible dedication, but the diverse stories of those working on the ground often go untold.

“Our Farming Heroes initiative is designed to change that.”

In addition to nominating their farming hero, festivalgoers can get involved in plenty of fundraising fun, from five-minute fast-donation slots to sponsoring squares in Jeremy Clarkson’s newly invented Battlesh**s game.

No more is yet known about Mr Clarkson’s game with more information about the farming heroes initiative and the festival on its website.
