Jeremy Clarkson Opens Up on Health, Humor, and His Mounjaro Journey
Jeremy Clarkson Shares Humiliating ‘Mounjaro Problem’ He “Never Saw Coming”
Weight Loss Success Turns Into Airport Embarrassment
Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about an unexpected side effect of his recent weight-loss journey. The 65-year-old TV host revealed that his use of Mounjaro, a popular weight-loss injection, led to an awkward — and hilarious — moment while travelling through airport security.

Clarkson, who has lost around two stone since starting the jabs, shared on X (formerly Twitter):
“Mounjaro problem I never saw coming. At airports, you’re made to remove your belt and then told to stand in the body scanner with your arms in the air; so you can’t hold your trousers up.”
His lighthearted confession quickly drew laughter and sympathy from fans who flooded the comments with playful advice. One fan quipped that as a farmer, Clarkson should always have “a piece of string or rope handy,” while another joked that he should switch to “dungarees” for a countryside-friendly fix.
A Health Journey After Heart Surgery
Clarkson’s transformation began following heart surgery last year after he experienced chest pains. The health scare prompted him to rethink his lifestyle and eating habits.
Initially, he tried Ozempic, another weight-loss drug, but stopped using it after suffering frequent nausea. He then switched to Mounjaro, which he credits for curbing his appetite:
“I no longer want to eat my own body weight in chocolate and beef,” he admitted.
However, not all fans were amused by his airport tale. Some urged caution, warning that such drugs can cause muscle loss or pose cardiac risks for those with a history of heart problems.
From Farm to Bestseller List
Beyond his health revelations, Clarkson remains busy with both his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire and his publishing ventures. His latest book, Diddly Squat: The Farmer’s Dog, has just been released — but it has already sparked playful rivalry.

Author and broadcaster Richard Osman took aim at Clarkson on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, calling his decision to release a book near Christmas “the coward’s way” to chase a seasonal bestseller. Osman teased:
“If he had any guts at all, he’d release it at another time.”
Despite the jab, Clarkson’s latest installment in his farming chronicles is expected to perform well with fans who’ve followed his countryside adventures since Clarkson’s Farm debuted on Amazon Prime.
A Classic Clarkson Moment
Whether poking fun at airport security or sparring with fellow celebrities, Jeremy Clarkson continues to blend humor, honesty, and a hint of chaos — proving once again that even a simple belt mishap can become headline-worthy when it’s Clarkson behind it.
