Jeremy Clarkson Confirms Clarkson’s Farm Filming Pause as He Shares New Update from Diddly Squat
Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that filming for Clarkson’s Farm has been temporarily paused — though, as ever, life on the land continues. The presenter took to social media to share a typically humorous update from his famous Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.

Filming Paused — But the Farming Goes On
Posting to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, the 65-year-old Top Gear and Grand Tour star wrote:
“Filming at Diddly Squat has stopped for a little while, but the farming goes on.”
The message, while brief, confirmed that the Amazon Prime Video series is taking a short production break. Filming for Season 5 has recently wrapped, with the new episodes expected to arrive in 2026.
Despite the pause, farming operations at Diddly Squat continue year-round — meaning Clarkson and his team remain hard at work tending crops, managing livestock, and dealing with the unpredictable British weather.
A Global Hit Born in the Cotswolds
Since its launch in 2021, Clarkson’s Farm has become one of Prime Video’s biggest non-scripted successes, winning praise for its mix of humor, authenticity, and raw insight into modern farming challenges.

The series transformed Clarkson’s 1,000-acre property in Chadlington — once known as Curdle Hill Farm — into a major tourist destination. Fans regularly queue outside the Diddly Squat Farm Shop and his nearby pub, The Farmer’s Dog, hoping to catch a glimpse of the man himself or co-star Kaleb Cooper.
Season 5: What to Expect
The upcoming fifth season will once again follow Clarkson, his partner Lisa Hogan, and young contractor Kaleb Cooper as they navigate the ups and downs of rural life. From livestock mishaps to local council red tape, viewers can expect another dose of the chaos and comedy that have made the show so beloved.
Although filming is on hold, Amazon has confirmed that Season 5 is fully in production, with plans to release it sometime in 2026.

Clarkson Launches New Book: The Farmer’s Dog
Alongside his TV projects, Clarkson has also released the fifth book in his Diddly Squat series, titled The Farmer’s Dog. The book explores a year on the farm and the process of opening his Cotswolds pub.
Promoting the launch on Instagram, Clarkson shared a video of himself in a bookstore, jokingly reading an excerpt aloud:
“We can’t find a reindeer, so I’m having to use a normal deer with antlers taped to its head.”
Grinning to the camera, he added, “Exciting stuff, The Farmer’s Dog,” before cheekily pointing to the neighboring Gavin & Stacey book on the shelf and quipping, “Better than that.”
The Future of Clarkson’s Farm
While filming may be paused, Jeremy Clarkson shows no sign of slowing down. With his book release, pub business, and ongoing farm work, the presenter remains at the heart of Diddly Squat life.
As fans eagerly await the next season, one thing is clear: whether he’s behind the camera, behind the bar, or behind the tractor, Jeremy Clarkson continues to turn rural life into must-watch television.
