Jeremy Clarkson’s Farm Nominated for National Television Award as Crew Grows “Fed Up” With Losses

A Major Milestone Amid Harvest Disruptions

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that his hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm has secured a nomination at the National Television Awards 2025. Competing in the Factual Entertainment category, the series will go head-to-head with Gogglebox, Stacey & Joe, The Martin Lewis Money Show Live, and Sort Your Life Out.

The nomination marks another milestone for the 65-year-old broadcaster, whose farming documentary has become a staple of British television since its debut in 2021. Clarkson broke the news to his 9.4 million Instagram followers, posting:

“We’ve been nominated for the National TV Awards.”

Crew Growing Restless

But behind the celebration lies a note of frustration. Responding to a fan on X who pledged their vote, Clarkson admitted that his production team is weary of coming up short at past NTAs.

“Thank you. Our crews are getting fed up of losing this one,” he wrote.

Despite the show’s widespread popularity and consistently high viewing figures, Clarkson’s Farm has repeatedly been overlooked in previous years.

Clarkson’s Unusual Ultimatum

In a bid to rally support, Clarkson issued a tongue-in-cheek warning on Instagram:

“We’ve been nominated for an award. If we don’t win, Richard Ham gets it.”

Richard Ham — not a fellow presenter, but a small Oxford Sandy and Black pig featured in the series — is now the subject of playful speculation among fans. Clarkson has not explained what “getting it” means, though the cryptic remark appears designed to push viewers toward casting their votes.

The Show That Redefined Clarkson’s Career

Since its launch, Clarkson’s Farm has transformed Clarkson’s public image from petrolhead presenter to unlikely farmer. Alongside right-hand man Kaleb Cooper and partner Lisa Hogan, Clarkson has documented the triumphs and pitfalls of life at his Oxfordshire estate, Diddly Squat Farm.

The series has run for four successful seasons and is currently filming its fifth in the Cotswolds, despite recent disruptions. Filming was temporarily delayed due to a no-fly zone imposed around Dean Manor, Chipping Norton, following U.S. politician JD Vance’s visit.

Eyes on The O2

The 2025 National Television Awards will take place at The O2 in London on September 10. Voting remains open on the NTA website until midday that day, giving Clarkson fans one last chance to try and secure the win he has long been chasing.

Whether Clarkson’s Farm finally takes home the trophy or not, the nomination reinforces its reputation as one of Britain’s most popular factual series — and perhaps the only one where a pig’s fate might depend on the outcome.
