Fans rally behind Jeremy Clarkson after major announcement
The presenter, known for his work on Top Gear and Clarkson’s Farm, owns both The Farmer’s Dog pub and Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
His TV credits also include The Grand Tour, on which we worked with Richard Hammond and James May for eight years since its 2016 debut.

The journey came to an end in 2024 with one final special across Zimbabwe and Botswana in Africa, entitled The Grand Tour: One For The Road.
It was announced this week (Thursday, February 5) that Prime Video had recruited three new presenters to follow in the footsteps of Clarkson, May and Hammond.
Trainspotter-turned-social media star Francis Bourgeois will front the show alongside James Engelsman and Thomas Holland.
Mr Clarkson was the first of the old guard to react to the news, with an official clip on The Grand Tour’s official Instagram page showing him approving the choices.
However, not all fans of the franchise have welcomed the major announcement, with several rallying around the 65-year-old as well as Mr May and Mr Hammond.
One Instagram user commented: “There’s no way it will be the same as before, but if the trio is still working behind the scenes, then maybe it’s worth a shot.
Another person added: “I thought they realised that the only reason we watch Grand Tour is because of the trio.”
“Just won’t be the same,” concurred a third viewer with a crying emoji.
Someone else added: “Never going to be the same.”
Another commenter said: “Remember when everyone stopped watching Top Gear after the trio left? Almost like they were the reason we watched these shows.”
