Clarkson’s Farm is returning for its fifth season, with new episodes now in post-production after filming officially wrapped in late September. The hit Prime Video series, which launched in 2021, continues to follow Jeremy Clarkson’s real-life challenges at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire.

What Will Series Five Focus On?
Bovine TB Outbreak at Diddly Squat Farm
One of the central storylines will be the devastating Bovine TB outbreak, which resulted in several animals being culled.
Clarkson broke the news on X in July, writing:
“Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB… Everyone here is absolutely devastated.”
The Farmer’s Dog Pub: First Full Year in Business
The new series will also revisit Clarkson’s £1 million pub, The Farmer’s Dog, which made its debut in series four.
Viewers are expected to see the pub’s chaotic first year — including its staffing challenges, soaring costs, and Clarkson’s trademark humour as he attempts to turn it into a success.
Will Kaleb Cooper Return?
Despite concerns from fans, Kaleb Cooper will appear in series five.
Although the 27-year-old is currently filming his new four-part travel-and-farming series Kaleb: Down Under in Australia, Clarkson’s Farm wrapped before he left the UK.
Kaleb remains one of the show’s most beloved personalities, and his presence is confirmed for the upcoming season.
What About Harriet Cowan?
Series four breakout star Harriet Cowan quickly won viewers over as she filled in for Kaleb during his time away.
However, her involvement in series five remains uncertain.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, she said:
“We’ve always left it very open. I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute.”
This leaves the door open for a possible return — but nothing is confirmed.
Release Date: When Will Series Five Launch?
Prime Video has not announced a specific premiere date, but previous release patterns give a strong indication:
- Series 3: May 2024
- Series 4: May–June 2025
Based on this, late spring 2026 is the most likely release window.
The season is expected to follow the show’s typical format of eight episodes, released weekly rather than all at once.
Could This Be the Final Season?
Jeremy Clarkson has hinted strongly that series five may be the last — at least for now.
After five years of near-continuous filming, the cast and crew are exhausted.
Clarkson said:
“Whatever happens, we’ll definitely take a short break… We’ve been filming two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.”
He didn’t rule out a future return, but made clear that a sixth season would only happen with a compelling reason and fresh creative direction.
