Fletchers’ Family Farm Star Opens Stunning Cottage for Winter Getaways

The countryside charm of Fletchers’ Family Farm is no longer limited to television. Fans of the ITV series can now experience life on the 120-acre farm for themselves, as Liz Fletcher — wife of actor and farmer Kelvin Fletcher — opens the doors of their beautifully renovated Stag Cottage for holiday stays this winter.

From Screen to Staycation

While farming documentaries like Clarkson’s Farm continue to dominate British television, Fletchers’ Family Farm has carved out a softer, family-oriented niche that’s winning hearts across the UK.
Now, viewers can move beyond the screen and step right into the show’s world.

Stag Cottage, prominently featured in the second series, has been transformed into a luxurious countryside retreat nestled on the couple’s picturesque Derbyshire farm. The property is now available to book for short stays through Sykes Holiday Cottages — and it’s already proving to be a runaway success.

Liz’s Labour of Love

According to Kelvin, the project has far exceeded their expectations.

“The response has gone above and beyond anything we imagined,” he told the Manchester Evening News.

The cottage has quickly become one of the farm’s most successful business ventures, and much of that success is thanks to Liz, who personally oversaw the entire renovation.

Liz revealed that demand skyrocketed almost instantly after the property went live online:

“We put the cottage up for rent as a holiday let, and it just went crazy. Within two days, the year was literally sold out. It’s gone above and beyond our expectations.”

Kelvin affectionately calls the cottage his wife’s “baby,” joking that when he can’t find her on the farm, he knows she’s “spending her time on her new obsession.”

A Farmhouse Dream Come True

What began as a renovation project has become one of the Fletchers’ most successful ventures yet.
