Posting to Instagram, the 65-year-old shared a photo of himself sat beside a burnt-out fire in a lush green field, joined by his co-stars — partner Lisa Hogan, farm favourite Kaleb Cooper, and regulars Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper. His short caption read: “Season 5. It’s a wrap,” sparking a wave of excitement among viewers who have eagerly awaited news about the show’s future.

Fans Delighted by the News

The comment section quickly filled with messages of joy and anticipation. One fan wrote:

“Seriously amazing news guys! I know you must all work incredibly hard for this show, in all weathers, but just know it is truly appreciated. I must have watched seasons 1–4 three times over and read all the books twice so far. It’s a combination of humour, education around farming, and the beautiful cinematic shots of our glorious countryside that does it for me.”

Another viewer praised the crew’s commitment:

“Great work to the entire team on filming in all weather. Best wishes from Stow.”

A third fan echoed the sentiment, joking:

“I hope you never stop filming Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy. Even when you’re eighty-hundred and a million ten, it’ll still be bloody brilliant. Hope to come and visit soon. Best wishes to you all.”

Diddly Squat’s Drama-Filled Journey

Since its debut, Clarkson’s Farm has become one of Prime Video’s most popular original series. The show has chronicled the highs and lows of life at Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm, offering both humour and heartfelt moments.

Clarkson's Farm' series 5: Everything we know so far

From pig deaths and teething troubles with crops to planning battles and the launch of Jeremy’s village pub, The Farmer’s Dog, the series has never been short of drama. Alongside these challenges, the programme has educated audiences about the real pressures farmers face — from financial struggles to unpredictable weather.

A Hard-Earned Break Ahead

The season five wrap comes after Clarkson previously suggested the cast and crew would need a break following five years of near-constant filming.

Speaking to The Times, he explained:

“I’d do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a b****y good story… Whatever happens we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.”

His comments suggest that while season six remains a possibility, fans may have to wait longer than usual for confirmation.

What’s Next for Clarkson’s Farm?

While no release date for season five has been announced, the “wrap” update indicates that post-production is now underway. If previous seasons are any guide, fans may expect a premiere sometime in 2025.

Until then, Clarkson, Kaleb, and the rest of the Diddly Squat crew will finally enjoy some well-deserved downtime after half a decade of bringing farming life — and its many frustrations — to millions of viewers worldwide.
