General Hospital ended with a Friday cliffhanger that will no doubt seal Natalia’s (Eva LaRue) fate. Natalia interrupting baby Daisy’s christening to confront Sonny (Maurice Benard) was a big mistake.
Ever since Natalia was busted for a DUI, then blackmailed by DA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) to turn evidence against Sonny, fans anticipated Natalia’s exit. The character is backed into a corner, and in the soap world, that can only mean Natalia is dunzo.
While neither General Hospital nor LaRue has spoken out about Natalia’s exit from the ABC soap, fans are certain she will soon be off the canvas.
“Sonny after his convo with Natalia on Monday. #GH,” read an X comment with a GIF of Sonny saying, “Get this trash out of here.”
The more Natalia becomes delusional, or as one fan wrote on X, “off her rocker,” the more clear it is that something bad is going to happen to her. General Hospitalfans have been waiting for her exit since Sonny made her a deal to get her out of the country.
All signs point to that happening as July sweeps kick off. The only question is, will she die, go to jail, or be exiled to Belize?
LaRue joined General Hospital in February 2024 for what was intended to be a limited run. From the beginning, LaRue’s talents haven’t been utilized, and Natalia isn’t a very popular character, so it’s not surprising that the show is writing her out.
