Parker Schnabel is a prominent figure on the Discovery series Gold Rush, which focuses on various mining companies as they search for gold. Schnabel has been a major part of the series for years, with him inheriting the Big Nugget mine from his grandfather.
Parker Schnabel Admitted He Had Trouble Writing A Caption
In addition to watching him on the series, fans have also gotten to know Schnabel through social media. However, a recent post had left some fans confused.
In the post, Schnabel could be seen laughing with someone with them both resting their foreheads against the others’. Notably, both were wearing suits and holding bouquets.
Schnabel also emphasized how emotional the moment was in the caption. As he shared, “I wrote a caption for this that made me cry and that’s really hard to do.”
That said, the image, paired with the vague caption, ultimately ended up confusing fans. Many were under the impression that Parker himself just got married.
As one fan explained, however, “These comments are crazy. Parker can’t just post a pic with his friend who got married without everyone thinking this is HIS husband and wedding. What is happening.”
Another fan explained the situation more in-depth. As they explained, “For the ones that don’t know it’s Taylor and Tatiana that got married. They work for Parker.”
Gold Rush fans should be familiar with the couple, Taylor Matejka and Tatiana Costa, as they both have appeared on the show themselves. The two often appear with each other on social media.

In a recent post, Tatiana had also recently wished Taylor a “happy birthday.” As she noted, “Happy Birthday to my best friend and love of my life! I am so grateful for all the joy you bring to my life.”
“You are the kindest, most fun and fabulous human I have ever met. Thank you for always being you. Love you so much.”
On Parker’s more recent post, however, many fans shared their reactions to the image. As mentioned, many were confused by what they were watching.
