This upcoming season will follow Clarkson, his partner Lisa Hogan and trusted colleague Kaleb Cooper as they navigate fresh obstacles. Prime Video has revealed: “Amidst a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly.”

The streaming service added: “But while the farm tries to go high-tech – resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad – even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.”

Gerald Cooper has emerged as one of the programme’s most beloved personalities, winning audiences over with his endearing manner and amusing interactions with Clarkson.

In the last season, Gerald candidly discussed his health struggles after receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis. Reach contacted Prime Video, who confirmed Gerald would be starring in season five of Clarkson’s Farm.

Fortunately, he subsequently announced he was free from cancer following effective radiotherapy treatment and had returned to his duties.

Supporters were devastated by false claims circulating on social media suggesting his condition had deteriorated and he’d withdrawn from the programme.

Nevertheless, the official Diddly Squat Farm Shop account debunked these rumours by posting footage of Gerald cheerfully dancing in the rain.
The post was captioned: “G-Dwag doing his thang, dancin and a laughing.” One supporter responded: “You know you’re really famous when they start making fake news about you good for you, Gerald.”

Lisa Hogan addressed the comment directly, writing: “So rough for him and his family though” accompanied by a ‘fuming’ emoji.

Come February 2026, she posted an endearing clip showing the Diddly Squat crew marking Gerald’s 79th birthday celebration.

Lisa wrote: “G-dwag is 79. HAPPY BIRTHDAY from your farm family, you legend of the ROCK.”
